As a soccer player and an avid rematch player over the top overtime game winning celebrations feed exactly what the passion and hype of the game needs, those moments fuel my love for soccer and would make those moments just as much more hype.</content>

My thought is that you should be rewarded for playing the same position and playing it well, which would lead to unlocking specific boosts for each position. Give 3 boosts to each position (GK, S, Fwd, D, MF) striker for example could have something like boosted Magnus effects and GK could have explosive dives  or quick recovery. It would add a tiny bit more complexity to the game but would also make playing positions good and properly more rewarding for players. It would also give reason for people to play more strategic in ranked rather than what happens now and nobody cooperates.</content>

    <content type="text/plain">One of the biggest gameplay issues right now is how sliding tackles work during dribbling situations and counterattacks.&#13;
&#13;
When I beat a defender and successfully create space, the defending player can simply sprint behind me, use a sliding tackle from the back, touch the ball, and immediately end up in front of me. This happens constantly during attacks and counterattacks.&#13;
&#13;
The problem is not the tackle itself. A well-timed slide should absolutely be rewarded. The problem is that failed or poorly timed slides carry almost no risk. Defenders can boost forward, slide from behind, recover extremely quickly, and often gain a positional advantage even when they were already beaten.&#13;
&#13;
In many situations, I dribble past a defender, yet a slide tackle from behind not only stops my attack but also places the defender directly in front of me, creating an unnatural body-block. This feels unfair because the attacking player is punished despite successfully beating the defender.&#13;
&#13;
Currently, players spam sliding tackles because there is very little downside. If the first slide misses, they recover almost instantly and can immediately slide again. As a result, defenders can repeatedly throw themselves into tackles with minimal consequences while attackers are forced to deal with constant interruptions.&#13;
&#13;
I am not asking for sliding tackles to be removed. They are an important defensive mechanic. However, the risk-versus-reward balance needs improvement.&#13;
&#13;
Suggested changes:&#13;
&#13;
Failed sliding tackles should have a longer recovery time (around 1–2 seconds).&#13;
Defenders who miss a slide should lose their ability to instantly challenge again.&#13;
Players who commit to a slide should understand that a bad decision has consequences.&#13;
Successful tackles should remain rewarding, but unsuccessful ones should create a meaningful disadvantage.&#13;

2 types of players always ruins the team chemistry: The one who refuse to pass, and the one that only wants to play as a striker. The first person will go an entire match with 0 intentional passes, and will only try to dribble or shoot. The other will just stand at the halfway line and watch as the team struggles in defence. &#13;
Everyone can have a bad game, but when these become an intentional playing style they should be punished. Football is a team game, and with teammates like these the match essentially becomes a 4v5. I strongly believe they either crack down hard for the striker type players, because it is essentially being AFK for 50% potential plays</content>

If in game everyone chooses their own colors i don’t see why we’re limited to specifics for Home and Away. For example say I want to make a kit based of the Greece international team, i do blues for primary and whites for details on home. but when doing away, after getting primary to white, my secondary’s are just completely limited to pastel colors that don’t fit or look good. why can I not do blue? We should be allowed to have the exact reverse colors for home and away, it is genuinely not that hard for someone to mix it up.</content>

    <content type="text/plain">The easiest way to inject more creativity into the game is to allow me to choose any of my teammates to celebrate with in the animation. When I score a goal, show me the names of four teammates, and I will select one or more to celebrate with in the cutscene. For example, developers could use the existing celebration animation in the game that already features a two-player interactive scene with an option to register a quick teammate name selection to add them to the celebration scene.&#13;
&#13;
If I don't pick any option to choose one of them, then by default, it's a random selection, as it is in the game.&#13;
&#13;
(Please fix the ping between Qatar and the UK. There's no place for us to play in this game only with UK servers; it was 110ms, now it's 145ms ping.) Sorry, I know this shouldn't be here.&#13;

1. Balancing changes dramatically with players on the pitch and another fold with changing field size. The game is balanced around 5s so make the player base engage in only that.&#13;

2. Concentrate the player base. I do not know the counts on console but its averaging at best 2-4k split across all regions. I play NA but if its split by three possibilities with the lower player count you don't get player diversity. &#13;

3. More players in queue: this could lead to a couple QOL changes. First being that the dev team could introduce some sort of priority where 5 stacks are more likely to play against other 5 stacks. This would improve solo player experience as the unfamiliar player patterns would be balanced.</content>

    <content type="text/plain">When inputting a pass, the game gives you a singular second to aim it with the indicator before a pass goes through. No matter what. Any micro movement made in that short span of time can completely offset the direction of a pass. &#13;

I think it would be nice if there was an option in the settings to toggle which lets you aim a pass with the indicator indefinitely by holding down the input and it passes on release. I imagine it'd also show the gradual change in both power and trajectory of the pass.</content>

Some of these games are obviously ruined by these players. The difference in the lost RP is sometimes 0 compared to normal lost games. If a report is deemed "rightful", compensate the other players in the match who lost RP because of the "unlawful" player.</content>

I play with all graphics settings at minimum and even at a resolution of 1130 x 635p, and it still doesn't look smooth (I tried AMD's frame rate boost and it still feels bad due to latency).</content>

    <content type="text/plain">I don't know the viability of such an LTM, but I think it would be very interesting to play in the first person perspective.&#13;
&#13;
Pain points that I have thought about such as:&#13;
1. How would the aerial volley (bicycle kicks, scissor kicks) look like in first person, would the camera be upside down or stay the same regardless.&#13;
2. It would be pretty difficult to accurately block balls using the outfield dive. Maybe an indicator under the ball for ball height like the one in Rocket League would help.&#13;
3. Dribbling would be quite nauseous having to go side-to-side using quick camera swipes (maybe the game would be in a different state at that point and this wouldn't be that much of an issue).&#13;
4. Goalkeeper would be quite difficult to play? or maybe easier?&#13;
5. Will the camera be relative or absolute. (Ex: Looking left to look for a pass while going to the right like what we have right now or absolute where the player direction is tied to where the camera is looking).&#13;

Thats about what I could think of, but honestly it would be pretty awesome to play in the first person perspective.</content>

You can’t have a good game if you don’t touch the ball. So forcing the player to take negative gains for the actions of others you don’t know is counter productive and doesn’t make you want to keep playing. The way the current system works is more in favor of people always having a 3 or 5 stack they play with regularly. So, I think and increase in your MMR being directly influenced by you alone should be weighted more than the game itself.</content>

Training sessions, challenges, and skill progression.&#13;
Cutscenes or narrative moments that give the game more identity.&#13;

In addition, this mode could attract players who enjoy single-player experiences alongside online competition, increasing the variety of content and keeping players engaged for longer.&#13;

As far as I know, the current matchmaking process works this way: players are matched based on their playing style and skill level, thus creating a pseudo-fair lobby. I'd also venture to speculate that six months ago (or smth), the pool of players you could be matched with was expanded due to the decrease of online, and players don't want to spend too much time searching for a 6 min lobby.&#13;
&#13;
I'm an Elite-ranked player who plays rematch competitively, and sometimes games become too disparate. You either end up playing with worthy opponents and worthy allies, or (worst case scenario) you end up playing in a lobby you don't even want to write about.&#13;
&#13;
I propose the following: narrow the player pool for matchmaking, and, in the current context, expect extended matchmaking time. To make the search worthwhile, increase the match duration (8-10 minutes). This way, the longer queue time can be justified by a higher-quality pool and players will be more suited to your skill level. &#13;
&#13;
So, with a good player pool and 8-10 minute matches, for example, a two-minute match search will be quite justified.</content>

Created some beautiful games out already. I feel like a lot of time and effort gets put into these items and animations but the fact it gets tied into the captain pass, means that a nice percentage of people won’t get to acquire it (myself included). I’ve been purchasing them but I don’t always have the time to earn tokens to get what I want to from the pass so that results in me missing out over time as well as a lot of other players. Could we see a system in the future where items from the older captain passes could get rotated through the shop? A redo on a captain pass? A system like the new purple card currency to redeem a captain pass for free but for previous ones? Or maybe just some items from the pass, placed into the customization section to buy for quants? This would be amazing for the player base seeing as how cool everybody can and could make their characters looks.</content>

    <content type="text/plain">I've seen people suggest a shot clock. I personally HATE this idea, it either will be done poorly and not fix timewasting or it will kill the "fast paced" nature of the game imo. &#13;

Instead I would like to propose a simple idea that would "fix" timewasting, and would also add a little extra cool dynamic to attacking in 3v3, especially when up a goal. &#13;
&#13;
The idea is a literal "Wall" (think of it like a forcefield) that moves up the pitch on a timer, so after 10 seconds of possession it could move up to the first point, gradually moving up further until it reaches the half way line, where it would stop at around 25-30 seconds of possession. &#13;
&#13;
Players can move through the wall freely, however the ball cannot go through the wall and would bounce off of it. If a player attempted to go through the wall with the ball, the ball would be "tackled" with/without a stagger (this is kinda up to balance). The point of this is that keepers and players would be able to bring the ball up the pitch, they'd still be able to dribble and build up an attack AND keepers/players would be able to sit in net/play safe, effectively just making the pitch smaller if a team is timewasting, and giving the other team a smaller area where they can press without worrying about leaving the net so open.&#13;

So, to cut short: I firmly believe that the addition of fake shots and GKs being forced to deflect everything close to them is already gonna completely change the offense/attacking dynamics of the game. I'd like to argue that there was actually no need to nerf defense or GK further because of these two changes, as it's already the hardest role in the game and is gonna be even harder with these new mechanics.&#13;
&#13;
The blog post once said that the GK is supposedly the "final boss", but it's starting to feel less and less that way. Next patch, any 1v1 against a goalie is a 95% chance of a goal, if not guaranteed. It is in no way challenging to score against one (contrary to what the blog post said, again), it's merely a bump in the road for the attacker. There is no way for a goalie to outplay or outsmart a striker. On top of the goalie not having one of its main tools (the slide) be on-par with what offense has access to; as an actual option to use against players.&#13;
Goalies might try to close the distance, but at that point the only option left is holding defense stance, GK just do not feel threatening. The offense still has access to all the dribbling techs, a fake shot, more options than ever before while defense gets a nerf and no compensation.&#13;
&#13;
Again, the fact that offense gets a new move, while the GK still has the most redundant existing move in the game still feel horrible to use is mind boggling to me.&#13;
&#13;
Tl;dr: GK slide needs to be reworked before any actual nerfs, these changes all go against what the blog post said about goalkeepers in general - if deflects are forced and offense has a brand new tool, aren't we supposed to see how it fare against current GK and defense first?</content>

The current alternative communication system feels too limited, especially for players who don’t use voice chat. In most of my matches, teammates are either in private Discord calls or completely silent, which makes coordination difficult for solo players.&#13;

Adding text chat wouldn’t magically create toxicity — toxic players will always find ways to communicate anyway. But for normal players, it would give a simple and accessible way to coordinate, ask questions, or just interact with teammates without needing external apps.</content>

If so many close range shots are going to be deflected instead of caught by the keeper, there’s way less incentive to pass for a higher percentage shot, which is one of the most fun and rewarding aspects of scoring goals. Why not just purposely drill the keeper when you have no shooting angle if you know the ball is going to spill out? &#13;

But to balance it out a little bit your character cannot lock onto the ball as they typically would while trapping it or volleying it normally. Instead u have to perfectly line up your character to the trajectory of the ball and do the same controls as you would to fake shot. This will send the ball into the air with lots of backspin for about a 3/4 of a second maybe a little longer or shorter depending on how hard the fake volley was but the ball can easily be headered or tapped away if not positioned correctly so it shouldn’t be spammed and of course you could only at most maybe pull off like 2 and maybe 3 max at full stamina.</content>

Visually, the stamina boost would be a yellow effect on the legs, similar to the "Libero" effect, and would remain for the duration of the boost.&#13;
Of course, the balls must be on the ground, and the players must be close together for the tiki-taka mechanic to work.&#13;
Other ideas to help with fluidity would be to add an option to let the ball pass between our legs to feint passing lines.</content>

I think prioritizing mechanics of stamina loss and regeneration would allow for unprecedented gameplay depth. &#13;
This could be adjusted over time to find the optimal balance. With the increased stamina, &#13;
the game will be faster but also more punishing for those who don't manage their stamina well.</content>
