Let us FULLY recolour items!

On so many items, I've attached an image of 2 of them, you are unable to recolour every part of the item which potentially just stops players from using that item because it wont fit any of their designs. For me at least the Dau go shoes are just completely unusable because I don't use the colour purple very much and it ruins my designs, despite the fact that the extra effort effect is so cool and the shoe itself is very clean. So please let us recolour items fully!
