Performance-Based Ranked Adjustments & Possession Loss Penalties
The current in-game scoring system is excellent (valuing team play, passes, and assists). However, Ranked progression currently depends entirely on winning or losing, which can feel unfair to high-performing players trapped with uncooperative teammates.
Proposal:
Performance Mitigation: Use the match score to slightly mitigate Rank Rating (RR) losses or boost gains. For instance, the MVP of a losing team should lose significantly fewer points than a low- performing teammate.
Possession Loss Tracking: Introduce an in-game point penalty for losing ball control (via tackles/ slides). Furthermore, if a player loses possession and the sequence directly results in a goal against (detected by a lack of interceptions or saves by teammates afterwards), that player should suffer a larger score penalty.
Benefit: This creates a fairer ranked ladder, rewards genuine teamwork, and discourages reckless individual play, driving players to value possession and passing.
Thank you very much for your time and for your continuous dedication to making Rematch such an incredible game.
Best regards,

LangBawBaw MergedI think that if you get MVP in ranked while on the losing team that you should be exempt from the point deduction. That’s all :)
