A new super shot
It would be epic to have some kind of direct Super Shot. Something faster than a regular shot but without any curve effect. Obviously, you'd have to sacrifice your entire stamina and sprint bars as a trade off and even more debuffs. Since it would take time to charge, it wouldbe easy for opponents to tackle and wouldn't be spammable due to the high requirements.

We’re considering increasing the “Magnus” effect (ie. curve ball) when shooting from the dribble stance. This will allow players to perform “finesse” shots, and overall give more depth to shooting, since players will need to master the effects of the ball in the different stances.
We are also looking into “extra power” shots - currently it’s almost impossible to score from outside the box, which is a pity because these are some of the most iconic shots of football. Finally, we might make the shot buildup duration a bit smaller when shooting in possession to reinforce ground play (this is more related to “balancing” than to “depth”)" -

V1P3R MergedA replacement for the dive mechanic on offense , it should be a purely timing based shot that bypasses priority and is based on position and timing , so like a van persie diving header or a scorpion shot or even a in air backheel (shidou) or even Haalands acrobatic goal ( like the one against bvb in 2023 I think) would be a cool new feature.

ComicB28237 MergedRobona shot could be another way to shoot the ball to trick up the GK and could be done with for instance LT, RT, X (which could allow for more buffs to GK without leaving them either too broken or just terrible and would give more legroom for GK buffs and nerfs)

Nomad MergedMy idea is that when shooting the ball, if the player does not input and curve -or rather the closer the reticle is to the center of the circle- the more powerful the shot is. This would be hard to accomplish for most because the reticle while shooting moves in the direction of your aim/joystick input, and returning the reticle to "point zero" is difficult.
Developers also would might to add a slight "up-curve" when inputting up on the shooting reticle, causing the ball so *slightly* curve upwards.
Having said this I want to add that, should this power shot be implemented, out of the box plays are to be balanced as well. Currently, there are too many shots and scoring opportunities whilst inside the box (in my opinion), and other players have expressed moving the heat-map of goals to just outside the box. This would allow power shots to be a viable shooting technique while not making it overpowered from within the box.

Sean2liitI see the vision with this one. They need long range shots to have more viability and that could be the answer. Being a danger from outside the box forces the defense to spread out which even allows for even more scoring options.
