Add a Story Mode to Rematch
I wanted to share an idea that could add a lot of depth and personality to REMATCH: the addition of a story mode.
The competitive gameplay is already very fun, but a story mode would allow players to connect more with the game’s world and its characters. It could include:
A player starting from street or amateur leagues.
Choices that affect the player’s career and team relationships.
Recurring rivals and major tournaments.
Training sessions, challenges, and skill progression.
Cutscenes or narrative moments that give the game more identity.
In addition, this mode could attract players who enjoy single-player experiences alongside online competition, increasing the variety of content and keeping players engaged for longer.
Even something simple, like narrative seasons or a progressive career mode, could help Rematch stand out even more from other multiplayer sports games.

I would like ai bots, to play against / with, maybe, after addition of clubs and more quickchats. make the ai obey/ follow quickchat commands like add one quickchat ''shoot'' for example. and another ''I've been standing here wide open for the last 20 seconds why haven't you passed me the ball'' .... yeah! cool quickchats like that, taunts aswell, instead of white text make it a purpleish color. would love that~
So back to ai bots, was thinking with clubs addition, we could add a solo mode with the clubs.. idk your capabilities right but like make use of the tutorial starting area, the small back alley with the concrete floor+wall, add a bot or five, and makes us 1vs5 them.
add a story w/ cutscenes or not - not relevant again dunno how much you can do as devs for the game- but yeah make it stadium, the back alley, and yeah bot matches with the club idea is, maybe players start solo and then as you play ai you can recruit them into your 'team/club'. and then you have more options -
